Author Guidelines

General

  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words and the full manuscript should be limited 5000 words including tables, graphs & charts.
  • The first page of the manuscript should have the Title of the paper, the name of the author(s), Organizational affiliation, complete mailing address, phone number, fax number, and E-mail address.
  • Include a summary of the paper to assist the Review Committee in their assessment.
  • Please ensure the accuracy of all facts and figures
  • The full manuscript should be submitted via e-mail to: gitjba@git.edu
  • Plagiarism should not be more than 10%

Page Set Up & Fonts

All text should be in 1.5 spaces with a 1-inch margin on all the sides on A4 size paper using the font Calibri of size 12 and for heading font size 14. Top, bottom, left, and right margins should be 1 inch. Use Times New Roman font throughout the manuscript, in the sizes and styles shown below

Review Committee expectation from the Journal Paper

  • Is the paper relevant to more than one industry
  • Is the paper relevant in other countries
  • Does the paper offer something innovative or provide a new insight
  • Is the research of sufficient depth to back up the author's points
  • Would a practising manager find the paper useful
  • How familiar is the author with the existing literature on this topic

Guidelines for the flow of the Paper:

  • The abstract should consist of a single paragraph with 150-300 words. It should be a summary of the paper and not an introduction; it should substantive in nature, presenting objectives, methodology, major results obtained, originality, and their significance. A list of up to seven (minimum 5) keywords, separated by commas.
  • Purpose of the research. (Objectives)

  • Reference (APA format): The References section lists books, articles, and reports that are cited in the paper. The references are numbered in the order they are cited. Examples of reference styles are given at the end of this template.
  • Research papers that are not supported by sufficient Literature and references may be desk rejected by the editor.
  • End Notes

    The Journal Will as a general rule does not identify references by date and author‘s last name in Parentheses in the text with a bibliography at the end of the research paper Instead We Request the authors place in the text a superscripted number that refers to a list  of endnotes assembled at the research paper

    Do not spell out the first name of authors in endnotes

    Do not italicize book or magazine titles Enclose book titles in quotation marks

    Place within quotes and do not italicize magazine names

  • Examples of Endnotes in Books:
