We are glad on the eve of the issue of our refereed Journal “Prabandhan”. This maiden issue is a testimony of our commitment, zeal and intense fervor to promote research and strengthen the ethos of management education. In the recent past MBA @ GIT has been successful in establishing a rapport with the industry, leading institutions, Academicians & entrepreneurs. There have been significant value additions programs like:

• Establishment of Diploma in Entrepreneurship & Business Management Program, affiliated to Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad.
• Establishment of a soft skills lab in conjunction with Waterford school of USA
• Establishment of a Research Centre to offer Ph.D Programmes (Affiliated to VTU)
• Establishment of a separate management library with Digital section & general reading sections
• Establishment of Human Resource Management Cell and Marketing Forum
• Inception of Moodle (the e-learning software platform/online learning system) SMS alerts to parents
• Publication of a refereed ISSN Journal and publication of the students news letter of MBA@GIT
• Conduct of MDPs, EDPs, Management fests &Cultural fests
• Rendering of consultancy to Belgaum Foundry Cluster, Zilla Panchayat Belgaum (NREGA), Polyhydron, Tarun Bharat, Manickbag Automobiles etc
• Establishment of an air conditioned computer lab with latest softwares
• Procurement of EBSCO, SPSS & Innovation Gold mine
